¿Qué es genuino? ¿Quién el impostor? Quizá aún funcionan demasiados discursos cimentados en la inaceptable idea de que algunas cosas son más “de verdad” que otras. Sin darnos apenas cuenta, la mayoría nos hemos convertido en víctimas de un concepto de lo auténtico tan falso como la (supuesta) impostura que pretende combatir. Y lo peor es que, en el proceso, nos hemos olvidado de que la impostura está en la naturaleza del pop.

What is genuine? Who is an impostor? Maybe too many discourses are still grounded in the unacceptable idea that some things are more “true” than others. Without even realizing, we have become victims of a concept of true as fake as the supposed trick that it tries to fight. And the worst is that, in this process, we have forgotten that that “fakeness” is deeply embedded in the roots of pop.
